Almond Butter + Cacao Nib Blondies
Almond Butter Blondies...Who doesn't love a healthy treat! I love baking with nut butters because it is silly simple and nutritious.
These delicious blondie squares are made with almond butter and maple syrup. They are Paleo and take only 15 minutes to make!
I've added some extra protein to pack a nutritional punch but it's optional. You'll be amazed at the versatility of nut butter once you've given these a go!
Almond Butter and Cacao Nib Blondies
INGREDIENTS
ΒΎ cup Almond Butter or Nut Butter of Choice
1 free range Egg (you can use a prepared flax egg here as well for VG option)
2 tablespoons Maple syrup
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract or Vanilla Bean Powder
Β½ teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of Sea salt
2 Tablespoons Cacao nibs or Choc chips
Optional
ΒΌ cup Protein powder or LSA for added nutritional punch!
METHOD
Pre heat oven to 175 degrees Celsius line an 8x8 square baking dish with parchment.
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, add cacao nibs. Press into tin spreading evenly. Mix will be like a dough, thick and quite firm. This is normal π
Bake for 9-10 minutes until browning on top. Let cool and cut into 12 squares. Enjoy x Ash
