Babes + Picnics Macedon Ranges

Babes + Picnics Macedon Ranges is a pay-it-forward initiative that brings mums and their babes together once a month for a picnic style gathering.

The purpose of these gatherings is to CONNECT - SUPPORT - GIVE BACK.

The program sets out to combat social and regional isolation and create a sense of community spirit amongst mums and families in the Ranges.

Aimed at those new to the community Babes + Picnics Macedon Ranges provides a monthly opportunity for those looking to find a place to connect with other parents and children in the community. Ex-pats, new mums, mums new to the Macedon Ranges, Partners, Grandparents, all are welcome! Babes + Picnics is on a mission to support our community through issues such as postpartum depression, social anxiety, regional isolation, and parental overwhelm.

BPMR provides a judgment-free, come as you are space for anyone and everyone with kids or caring for children in the Macedon Ranges.

Through our picnic events, we support local small businesses and also give back to local charities/organizations benefiting women, children, and families each month.

Note: Babes + Picnics Macedon Ranges is based on the original one-of-a-kind concept Babes + Picnics Australia founded by Lucia de Mello in 2016. Although the national program has since ended we are so grateful to Lucia for her inspiration and foundations for the program and all the time and love she poured into Babes + Picnics Australia.
