Acai Smoothie Bowl
I had a delicious Acai bowl for Breakfast this morning... have you ever tried Acai?
Acai is considered a superfood. This little berry is high in calcium, vitamin A, antioxidants and protein. You can purchase Acai in powdered form or in frozen sachets perfect for adding to smoothies.
For this bowl I simply blended...
1/2 a frozen banana
1 frozen acai sachet
1 cup of blueberries
Juice of half a lemon & a pinch of cinnamon
Optional extras: protein powder of choice, and some collagen protein for an extra nutritional punch!
You don't have to add extra supplements if you don't use them. Just the acai and fruit is great! I placed all ingredients in my blender, covered with filtered water, and blended until smooth!
Enjoy as a smoothie or a smoothie bowl with your favorite toppings. Today I have fresh blueberries, and freeze-dried strawberries and bananas.
